1955 Chevy

The owner of this car purchased it in the 1980s and had a friend repaint it in acrylic lacquer. The paint job is still holding up today. Much of the interior is original. The owner had approached Bill Hahn in the mid-90’s asking why he couldn’t seem to win any awards. After opening the hood, Bill told him everything under the hood was the reason why he wasn’t winning any car shows. All the front end sheet metal was removed. The firewall repainted was as well as the frame and all inner sheet metal. The engine was rebuilt, as well as all steering and suspension components. All restoration work was done to a headmark correct standards. Immediately after picking up his car, he started winning awards and trophies. This ‘55 Chevy is an AACA Senior Grand National winner.
