1957 Mercedes 300SL Roadster

The cousin to the 300SL Gullwing, the 300SL Roadster has now come into its own as a collectible car. Powerful and agile, the Roadster shares many elements with the Gullwing including the slant six engine, aluminum floor pans, and tube steel frame. Roadster is equipped with a racing profile camshaft and dual coil distributor. The car made its debut at the 2012 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix where it was given the first place people’s choice award from the Mercedes Club.

The current owner has possessed the car since 1962 and rallied it regularly throughout the 1970’s. It has undergone a complete, every nut and bolt restoration at our shop and boasts fresh paint, new leather interior, a complete engine rebuild and equipped with both hard and soft tops.
